Thank you for coming to the show ! ! !

This was the first wire and clay piece I did. "Wild Woman"
The mother of the rest of my wire work.

"The journalist wrote... but the bird preferred shorthand"

This piece was sold at the show and went to a good home out of state.

I will be doing more wire and clay this winter, I have all sorts of ideas and can't wait to get started.

We really had a great time this last weekend and it was better than I ever hoped. The women in the Portland Art Collective are such a gift to my life. I have never been in such a relaxed productive group before. We can really do great things together. And this show was just such an example.

I started a journal this is the skeleton made from rebar wire and copper

We made some very cool resin paper.

Say Cheese

Art and Soul class with Susan Lenart Kazmer. She is funny and a great teacher. I learned a ton from her.

Barb Marty always fun and it was so nice to see her.

My wonderful friend Kath made me a book on crows. It is beautiful!!! Thank you Kath.

Debi is hard at work making paper.

Flo and a wonderful little pet she is makeing

Here is Jackie Crist looking over notes at Camp Huston. She taught her "backgrounds to dye for" She had a class of about 30 and what a good job she did.
What a month of fun I have had, getting to do art with so many friends and going to several retreats. I now have a pile of new techniques to play around with but had to spend very little as I had most of the supplies and that is very good.

Grandfather Could Fly

Trying out how to post a photo.
I'm hoping by starting this blog I can jump start into some sort of a journal as well as letting some friends and family see what I'm up to as far as my art life goes.
